1️⃣ 1 Billion Giphy Views - we did it
We did it! 1 BILLION VIEWS on GIPHY in just 5 MONTHS! How’s that for viral? Folks all around the world are using our memes and stickers to share good vibes.
Our most viral GIFs are the hugs and birthday celebrations. You can view and use our GIF on Meta Messenger, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp.

2️⃣ 🎂Chubbicorns First Birthday
When we uploaded 250 Chubbicorns on the Opensea shopfront, we never could’ve imagined what it would become. Just a year later, we’ve grown Chubbiverse into a huge, growing web3 brand. In our first 12 months, we achieved so much — migrated the ‘corns into their own contract, and built the awesome-est community ever. You can read more about our journey here.
Over 1000 folks joined in on the birthday Twitter giveaway.
We might only just be turning one, but we’re gonna be spreading cuteness to the world for years to come.
3️⃣ ✈ We’re travelling to Singapore
The Chubbiverse team is heading to Singapore between 26 September to 2 October. We’re going to be hanging out with a bunch of our frens from the Cute Collective. We’re especially excited to be sponsoring (and participating in) the Froyoverse Arcade night on the 27th of September. If you’re going to be in Singapore — make sure you come and party with us!

4️⃣ 🚀Increasing our Discord server security
One of our moderators was targeted by a sophisticated social engineering attack which ultimately gave the hacker access to our Discord server. Thankfully no damage was done.
Regardless, we wanted to level up our security after this scare. One of our Chubbicorn holders, Jon HQ, is an established Discord security professional. They audited our server and helped increase our server security. Thank you very much, Jon HQ!

Our team/moderators will not DM you first or send you random links
Reset your Discord password on a regular basis and enable 2FA
5️⃣ 🖼️ Strategic creative updates
We've been busy making new animations and developing our Chubbi toys. More GIFs, stickers, and product development are on their way, too.
Cinnamunch and FroggyCyborg have announced that they will be stepping away from their day-to-day roles. We want to thank them for their dedication and big-brained creativity that propelled the project into success. They've been instrumental in creating the Chubbiverse, and will continue to be part of the community. Their influence will live on in the Chubbiverse forever!
