You can achieve more than you think in 365 days. And in Web3, a year is a long, long time. We've built Chubbicorns together β one day at a time. At the end of this busy, exciting, and life-changing year, it's time to take a moment to celebrate:

Let's take a trip down memory lane to look at the year that was ππ»
Chubbicorns are born πΆ
In September last year, the NFT space was exploding with new voices, talent, and inspiration. But there was a gap: cuteness.
After starting off π±βπ€stealthyπ±βπ€, every Chubbicorn was adopted within 3 days.
We received a huge wave of support, and the energy in that first month was just indescribable.
Here's a flashback to story time with String talking about those first weeks.
Cuteness for good πΌ
Part of our mission from the very beginning has been to β¨spread good vibesβ¨ and we wanted to pass on some of the love and support we received in the early days.
We partnered with our friends from Pudgy Penguins to raise money for charity β raising 15Ξ for St Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Global Penguin Society.
Connecting through art π¨
Art brings people together. Art means something to all of us. We wanted to capture the spirit of web3 in art β to bring together the icons of the space into beautiful pieces art.
To capture the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and a bustling ecosystem where we all co-exist.
Check out this example, a heartfelt Axie Infinity and Chubbicorns crossover β two projects that understand the value of art and human connection. I'm not crying, you're crying. π
Creating a viral brand π
Virality is one of the most important things in web3 β it's important to build a community of people who believe in you, support you, and keep bringing new people in the door.
Chubbicorns have always been on top of their game when it comes to awesome viral posts like the π© donut factory fiasco and the community π» Ghostbusting mission.
Understanding how to tap into the power of virality has been on of the keys to the success of Chubbicorns β and it'll only become more important as we continue growing our brand.
Finding our crowd π€
Chubbicorns are good at making friends β and we've buddied up with some of the biggest names in the business over the last year.
Who could forget VincentVanDough and their Starry Voyage? Connecting with other artists like pplpleaser. Or when Steve Aoki joined the fam? And to make it even better, Chubbicorn #100 starred in Steve's own collection a couple of months later.
And most of all, Chubbicorn OGs like Jebus, Chubbicorn80, and Pathβas well as the rest of the communityβwho helped build Chubbicorn momentum and made all of this possible.
Our community is constantly growing, chatting, and connecting across 5 servers, group chats, Twitter, and in-person meetups. Every moment spent with a fellow Chubbi is treasured. π
GIFs and stickers πΌοΈ
GIFs and stickers have become the beating heart of the Chubbiverse community. They are the perfect way to capture the silliness, joy, and vibe of the brand β while making it easy for everyone to share and grow the brand.
We are currently on the countdown to 1 BILLION views on GIPHY β the day is coming soon, no doubt (we already have over 900,000,000).
We are constantly producing new art, animations, and stickers to keep on sharing β and the Chubbiverse is already an incredibly recognisable brand thanks to the spread of our GIFs and stickers.
The pact βοΈ
We can't round this birthday out without mentioning the tattoo pact β at 69Ξ, the Chubbiverse will be immortalised in ink for a few very special (and dedicated) community members.
Who knows who might appear with a Chubbi tattoo in the future? π
The years to come π
The most exciting years are yet to come. As much as it is remarkable to look back and think about how much we have all achieved together in the last year, there is still so much of the Chubbiverse story that is yet to happen!
We are growing Chubbiverse into a global brand that can be recognised and treasured by anyone and everyone.
We have already dipped our toes into the world of physical goods through the launch of the Chubbishop, but we have plans to continue the expansion of the Chubbishop in the future. Currently, we're working on a line of Chubbi toys and collectibles for mainstream consumer markets β potentially available via the Chubbishop or brick-and-mortar stores.
On the digital sideβwhere the Chubbiverse is at homeβwe are continuing to ramp up our meme factory and sticker production. More stickers means more Chubbi in the world, after all.
And let's not forget the community's role in all of this β we recently released character profiles, the first milestone in a bigger push towards community-driven storytelling and mythbuilding for the Chubbiverse. We believe that the stories of web3 should be created, shared, and enjoyed by the community first and foremost β and things like character profiles puts the power in your hands.
We're also looking into interactive NFTs to help build more exciting features into the web3 aspects of the Chubbiverse.
